Information about the Epigenome and epigenome projects. Epigenetics, which defines changes over genetic material, and involves DNA methylation in addition to many other processes, is part of the epigenome which is epigenetics and epigenetic changes within the entire genome. Basically, the epigenome looks at the global, overall, picture of epigenetics within the genome, rather than at specific sequences.
