HOW TO USE: This medication is for topical use only. Clean and dry the affected area as directed. Then apply a small amount of the medication on the skin and rub in gently. A thin layer is all that is needed. Do not bandage, wrap or cover the area treated unless you are instructed to do so by your doctor. Do not use large amounts nor apply this more often than directed nor use this for longer than prescribed. Your condition will not clear faster, but side effects may be increased. Use carefully if applying to the face. Avoid contact with the eyes. SIDE EFFECTS: This medication may cause itching, burning, redness, dry skin or a rash. Notify your doctor if you develop any of these symptoms. Very unlikely to occur but report promptly the following side effects: unusual weakness, weight loss, nausea/vomiting, fainting dizziness. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your doctor or pharmacist. PRECAUTIONS: Before using this drug, tell your doctor your medical history including: other illnesses, any infections, other skin disorders (e.g., thinning skin), allergies (especially drug allergies). Though very unlikely, it is possible this medication will be absorbed into your bloodstream. This may have undesirable consequences that may require additional corticosteroid treatment. This precaution applies for up to one year after stopping use of this drug. Consult your doctor or pharmacist for more details. This medication should be used only if clearly needed during pregnancy. Discuss the risks and benefits with your doctor. It is not known if this medication is excreted into breast milk. Consult your doctor before breast-feeding.
